Our Vision
The vision of the TAME Coalition is for Montgomery County Maryland to become a leader of public transit development in the Washington metro area for the 21st century.
- Securing mass transit service through: Corridor Cities Transitway (CCT), Rapid Transit Vehicles (RTV), Purple Line, and Full Service Marc Rail.
- Supporting a fundamental change in balanced transportation planning that moves toward a greener use of public transportation.
- Preserving some of the last remaining parkland, including forests and stream valleys in the Germantown Greenbelt, and the Great Seneca and Whetstone Run watersheds in Montgomery Village and Gaithersburg.
